The ceremony was classic; minimally decorated with floating candles lining the aisles, giving a romantic ambiance to the room. After readings by their parents, Dawn and Nick incorporated a ring warming element to their ceremony, passing their wedding bands around to every guest for blessings and prayers as they start their married life. Following the ceremony they joined their guests for their reception, which featured two long, family style tables, impeccably decorated with gold accents on a green tablecloth, and an individual boxed caramel apple for each guest. Um, yum! I don’t often see long tables like this at weddings, and I have to say that I am a huge fan! The tables were beautiful focal points in the room, and the layout invited good laughs and conversation throughout the night.

One of my personal favorite moments of the wedding day was seeing Dawn read the letter that Nick had written to her while her mother and bridesmaids helped secure her flowing cathedral veil. I’m certain that I looked ridiculous crouching underneath the veil while they were positioning it, but after seeing these photos, I think it was worth it.
